Let Them Work – Phase 3: Refugee Economic Inclusion and Labour Market Access

The IKEA Foundation is supporting the Center for Global Development and Refugees International in the third phase of their Labour Market Access initiative, advocating for refugees' rights to work, freedom of movement, and access to basic services. As aid cuts place unprecedented pressure on the global refugee system, this grant will engage governments, development actors, and financiers to make the case for refugee self-reliance — and help deliver it. A new workstream through the Green Horizons platform will also train refugees for green economy jobs, turning a moment of crisis into an opportunity to build long-term resilience.
