The IKEA Foundation is continuing its support for the World Economic Forum's Humanitarian and Resilience Investing (HRI) initiative, which works to unlock private capital for market-driven solutions in fragile and climate-vulnerable economies. Building on a first phase that helped ten social enterprises access over $30 million in investment and prompted major development finance institutions to establish dedicated fragile-context investment programmes, this renewed grant will grow networks of impact investors, build shared pipelines of vetted opportunities, and use the WEF's convening power to advocate for greater private sector engagement in contexts that aid alone cannot transform.
