Climate Emergency Collaboration Group

The IKEA Foundation partners with the Climate Emergency Collaboration Group (CECG), a platform that coordinates philanthropic resources and builds coalitions to strengthen the global ecosystem around international climate negotiations. As geopolitical instability puts climate ambition under threat, CECG works to amplify vulnerable voices and Global South leadership in shaping climate decisions - helping to protect the Paris Agreement and the 1.5°C goal. This support also also contributes to restoring the UNFCCC Climate Weeks and strengthens efforts like the African Futures Policy Hub to ensure Global South voices are better represented in international climate discussions.
