African Institute for Sustainable Energy and Systems Analysis (AISESA)

The IKEA Foundation is supporting the launch of the African Institute for Sustainable Energy and Systems Analysis (AISESA), a new initiative hosted at AKADEMIYA2063 that will generate African-led research and actionable pathways at the intersection of renewable energy, climate, and development across sub-Saharan Africa. Working across eleven countries with governments, businesses, and civil society, AISESA will produce the empirical evidence and context-specific solutions needed to accelerate clean energy transitions and ensure that African priorities shape the continent's own climate and energy future.
