Today, one-third of all food is wasted, and one-third of global greenhouse gas emissions come from how we produce, distribute and consume food.
That’s why the IKEA Foundation is supporting partners, who have smart solutions for cutting food waste and reducing food’s impact on our climate.

Tomatoes are the world's most widely grown vegetable, but like all food, roughly one-third is wasted. Throughout their lifecycle, they can also contribute to climate change.
