The IKEA Foundation funds the development of Refugees United’s online web and mobile-enabled search tool that empowers refugees and refugee agencies alike in the quest to reconnect thousands of families worldwide.
Working with the United Nations refugee agency, UNHCR , as well as other partners, Refugees United enables refugees to sign up to a confidential database in the hope of finding loved ones they have been separated from.
The IKEA Foundation funds Refugees United because we believe home is more than just a place to live. Family and friends make a house a home and provide a better start in life for millions of children worldwide.
