The Research Foundation of Lund Vietnam Childhood Cancer Programme, Lund University Hospital, Sweden co-operates with the Medical Faculty at Lund University and Lund University Hospital. The Foundation improves child cancer care in Vietnam in close co-operating with already existing child hospital care in Vietnam and Vietnamese health authorities. |
This partnership began in 2008. The programme aims at making a permanent improvement of cancer care so that an increased number of children can survive and recover from cancer in Vietnam. The emphasis is on the training of doctors and nurses at the country’s major hospitals with the primary partner being the National Hospital for Pediatrics in Hanoi.
